Corrections policy

Roomology corrects the claim, not merely the wording around it. Material changes explain what was wrong, what changed and which source now supports the page.

What counts as a correction

A correction addresses an inaccurate fact, misapplied source, incorrect calculation, broken decision step, misleading omission or material scope problem. Typographical and formatting fixes may be made without a correction note when they do not change meaning.

Process

  1. Record the report. Capture the URL, disputed text, supporting evidence and potential risk.
  2. Recheck the primary source. Do not decide a factual dispute by counting secondary webpages.
  3. Limit immediate harm. A high-risk page may be held or marked noindex while the claim is investigated.
  4. Correct in context. Revise every dependent passage, table, metadata item and structured-data field.
  5. Document material changes. Add a dated note when the correction changes the reader's decision or understanding.

Report an error

Email info@roomology.blog with the page URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate and any supporting source. Use “Correction request” in the subject line so the report can be routed correctly.
