Trust and method
Editorial standards
Roomology publishes for a defined reader decision. Volume, search traffic and advertising eligibility do not substitute for evidence, distinct purpose or a usable outcome.
Page eligibility
A proposed page must identify its primary audience, job to be done, direct outcome, original contribution, source plan, author/reviewer fit, overlap with existing pages and monetisation status. The decision is pass, hold, merge or reject. A held or rejected page is not indexed, added to the sitemap or made eligible for ads.
Research and drafting
- Define the question. The title and opening must promise a task the page can actually complete.
- Map claims to sources. Regulations, standards and time-sensitive facts use current primary sources where available.
- Add independent utility. A page needs a method, comparison, tool, worked example or original evidence—not a paraphrased source list.
- State limits. Jurisdiction, assumptions, missing evidence and conflicts are visible where they influence the outcome.
- Review before indexation. High-impact technical claims require a verifiable reviewer with relevant competence.
Use of AI and automation
Roomology uses AI assistance for research organisation, drafting, code generation and quality checks. Each priority guide discloses that process. AI output is not treated as a source, first-hand experience or expert review. Named author and reviewer credits appear only after those people have participated and consented.
Independence, funding and commercial content
The current release contains no advertising, affiliate links, sponsorship, paid placement or product ranking. If a future commercial relationship affects a page, it must be disclosed near the relevant content. Payment will not convert an untested product into an editorial recommendation or buy a favourable conclusion.
Advertising eligibility
Advertising is assessed per page. Pages without substantive publisher content, drafts, search results, error pages, legal/navigation pages and pages awaiting fact-checking are blocked from ads. No AdSense publisher ID, ad code or ads.txt entry is included until an actual account and an eligible publication stage exist.
Dates and updates
Publication dates record when a page first became available. A modified date changes only after a substantive correction or update. Changeable sources are rechecked and the access date is shown. Cosmetic edits do not create fake freshness.
